Bertoia Inspired Stool - Available in 2 Finishes

The Bertoia stool was designed in 1952 by Harry Bertoia as part of his iconic "Wire Collection" for Knoll International. Bertoia, a sculptor, was inspired by geometry and transparency, and he sought to create furniture that was "mostly made of air" by welding slender steel rods into lightweight, strong, and sculptural forms. The bar stool, along with other chairs in the collection, has been in continuous production since its debut and remains a classic in modern design.
